Concentrated biofertilizer
This biofertilizer is a 100% biological concentrate from the nitrogen fixing bacteria Azospirillum brasilense. These bacteria act as small factories that provide plants with easily assimilable natural nitrogenated fertilizers. These bacteria inhabit the soil near the plants roots where they establish a mutually beneficial relationship (symbiosis) with said roots. In this symbiosis the plants feed the bacteria with sugars produced by photosynthesis, in exchange, bacteria take Nitrogen which is abundant in air and transform it into ammonia, nitrates and nitrites, which are deposited in the soil so it can be used by the plants through their root systems. This relationship guarantees that plants will obtain high quantities of nitrogen needed for an adequate nutrition, development and productivity, through fixation by Azospirillum brasilense.
These bacteria also produce phytohormones that stimulate plant development and compete with soil bacteria capable of producing disease (pathogenic bacteria), therefore diminishing the negative effects these bacteria have in crop health. By improving plant nutrition, stimulating development and increasing resistance to bacterial disease, the association with Azospirillum brasilense elevates crop productivity, quality and appearance. At the same time, it promotes soil regeneration through the integration of higher vegetal mass volumes rich in nutrient content and a more efficient use of resources.
The use of these biofertilizers in present agricultural practices helps create favorable conditions for the integral development in benefit of biological, economic and social capital.
