This biofertilizer is a 100% biological concentrate that is based on the activity of mycorrhizal fungi, these types of fungi associate naturally with plant roots. They enter plant roots through hyphal (radicular hair) formation, which promotes a higher root volume allowing the plant to elevate nutrient uptake. A nutritional exchange is carried out through the fungus-root association, where the Mycorrhizal fungi absorbs water, mineral nutrients like Nitrogen, Phosphorous, Potassium and other micronutrients that plants don’t have access to and transport them directly to the root. In exchange, plants provide the fungus with nutritional sugars produced through photosynthesis.
A higher absorption capacity in the root allows a significant increase in the exploitation of these nutrients and water, improving plant nutrition, vigor and providing resistance to rough environmental conditions like droughts, frost, soil salinity, heavy metals and high temperatures.
