Rhizofer
Nitrogen fixing bacteria Rhizobium etli.
million Rhizobium etli bacteria per gram.
Concentrated biofertilizer
This product is a biofertilizer based on the bacterial activity of Rhizobium etli. These kinds of bacteria associate naturally with plant roots, intruding in said roots and forming the structures known as nodules. From these nodules they establish mutually beneficial relationships (symbiosis) with the roots. In this symbiosis the plant feeds the bacteria with sugars produced by photosynthesis and in exchange bacteria capture Nitrogen present in air and transform it into ammonia, nitrates and nitrites which are directed to the roots. These bacteria also produce phytohormones that stimulate plant development and compete with soil bacteria capable of producing disease (pathogenic bacteria), therefore diminishing the negative effects these latter bacteria have in crop health. By improving plant nutrition, stimulating development and increasing resistance to bacterial disease, the association with Rhizobium etli elevates crop productivity, quality and appearance.
Rhizofer is the product of years of research in nitrogen fixation done in the National Autonomous University of Mexico, during which highly productive and competitive strains were selected and their nitrogen fixation ability improved. The bacteria are cultured with state-of-the-art technology that allows reproduction in very high concentrations and in conditions of total innocuity that guarantee a high-quality product that is harmless to people and beneficial for the environment.
The benefits provided by Rhizofer can be used in all kinds of leguminous crops like bean, broad bead, lentil and many others.
